Grandma Whaley

My (Jessica) Grandma Whaley visited us for 10 fun days! We loved having her here and the girls thought she was the greatest! There were days we relaxed and there were days we played. The girls loved reading books, doing puzzles and playing with Grandma. I think it's so cute when Mckenzie calls her "great-grandma". Here's some pictures from her visit (I still need to get the pictures from her that she took).

Being tourists in Boston

There are 2 films being shot in Boston right now. The picture below is the set for "Witchita" starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. The other (no picture) was for a movie Ben Affleck is doing. We didn't see any movie stars.


We drove up north to Sharon, Vermont. It is the birthplace of Joseph Smith. It was raining and cold, but the drive, monument and the colors were AMAZING! I love fall time in New England!

Mckenzie

Mckenzie has FINALLY decided that she likes the camera! She loves to make different faces and poses. Towards the end of this slideshow, you'll see her many random faces. These are what she has determined to be her different princess smiles (like Cinderella, Ariel, Aurora...).

Family, Food, Fun and Football!

About 2 weeks after getting home from a great trip to Colorado and Bear Lake (Idaho), Dan's manager said that they would be sending him out to Colorado for business within a month. I was THRILLED! This meant more time to spend in Colorado with my family! I planned on the weather being warm. It didn't cooperate. Here's some pictures of our trip.

Mckenzie and Abby LOVE Bailey. She's a huge slobbering St. Bernard, but she's lot's of fun and TERRIFIC with kids!
