If you want to laugh...

If you are in need of a good laugh, then check out my friend Torrey's recent post on her blog www.markandtorreybishop.blogspot.com. It is HILARIOUS! I have to say that I'm not all that surprised that she did this "act of service" because she such a sweet person as it is. Anyway, enjoy!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ABBY!

My baby turns 2 today and she reminds me all the time that she's not a baby, but a big girl. Abby is so special to me and today I've thought a lot about what was going on in our lives just 2 short years ago (if you want to read the story go to November 2007 blog archives). It's amazing how something go from looking like this:

(Sorry the above picture is a little alien-like. They usually take 4-D utrasounds after 32 weeks, not 22 weeks like this one)

To looking like this just over 2 years later:

We absolutely LOVE our little Abby and so does everyone who knows her. She has a way of melting your heart. Abby has EVERYONE wrapped around her little finger. She just puts a smile on her face, bats those beautiful blue eyes and gives a little wave and she's got control over you. She's always has been and continues to be laid back, cuddly and fun-loving. We love you, Abby! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Extra Pictures From When Grandma Whaley Came To Visit

When my Grandma was visiting, we took a drive to a grist mill. It's a beautiful area with all the trees and the leaves falling. I love taking walks there.

Wrinkles and my Grandma don't go together. Finding one on her face is like looking for Waldo in one of those "where is waldo" books.

HALLOWEEN

HIP HIP HORRAY I'm so glad Halloween isn't everyday! There are ONLY 2 things that I enjoy about Halloween. Seeing my kids in their cute costumes and raiding their trick-or-treat bags for candy. Funny how both these things can be done on any given day of the year. Halloween is my least favorite holiday of the year. However, having 2 of the cutest little girls in the world does help make Halloween a little enjoyable. There's nothing like the excitment in their eyes and the enjoyment they find from dressing up and getting candy for saying trick-or-treat.
We started off the festivities at Dan's work on Thursday where they had a haunted house, treats, pumpkin decorating and a clown show. Friday we went to the trunk-or-treat (we gave out candy at our trunk, but didn't decorate). I have to say that there were some awesome trunks! Saturday, Mckenzie stayed in her costume the whole day. I made her take it off when we went out to dinner, but came to find out kids at free if they were in costume. Well, this is becoming a long post for a holiday I don't like. Enjoy the pictures and thank you Mom for the costumes! They were a huge hit!

Mckenzie was our "Snow Princess" (as well as our Iceskating Princess. Depended on the day)

Abby was our little chick. She went around saying "cheep cheep"

Abby looked so cute as she running and waddling around.

Dan's brother Jonathan works in Nantucket during the summer months and visited us during Halloween time before he drove back to Idaho for the winter.

Abby can't get enough candy! She refused to eat her lunch today because it wasn't candy. UGH!
