Yes, I know it's January. I'm in Colorado looking on my mom's computer for pictures and came across these from when Mckenzie and Abby went to Colorado after I came home from the hospital with Katie.

The girls were soooo excited for Baba (Grandma in Russian) and Aunt Bree to take them to American Girl.

Our kids are quite the frequent travelers and they know Jet Blue all too well.

American Girl

Christmas 2009, Mckenzie got an American Girl Doll and Abby got a Bitty Baby. They absolutely love them and we love them because they're great quality dolls and they keep the girls entertained. New Years 2010 we created a new tradition of going to American Girl on New Year's day and eating at the American Girl Bistro. So, New Year's Day 2011 we didn't go to the Bistro (I forgot to make reservations, yes you need to do this), so we just went to the store. Going to the American Girl store is a BIG deal to Mckenzie and Abby. I should take pictures of the girls when we're there. Their smiles are HUGE and all the excitement of the different outfits, furniture etc. for their dolls is crazy! Abby got a new ballerina outfit for her baby and Mckenzie had her doll, Rebecca's, hair done at the AG salon (yes, they have a salon where you can have your dolls hair done and even get the dolls ears pierced... oh and there is a AG hospital, but you have to mail your doll to it, I think).

Learning Scriptures

Since Mckenzie and Abby are both in primary now, we're trying to help them memorize the Articles of Faith and some scritpure mastery scriptures. Here's what we have so far (the singing one is a pretty good depiction of Abby's personality)

Best of Friends

Mckenzie and Abby a great friends! They have their moments were they can't stand each other (Mckenzie has been known to tell Abby "You make me so frustrated"), but they love each other completely! Abby really looks up to Mckenzie, we've always known this. It became very apparent when one night Abby woke up to go to the bathroom and yelled, "MCKENZIE! MCKENZIE! I NEED TOILET PAPER!" It was touching to me to hear her looking to her big sister for help. On a side note, Mckenzie didn't wake up to get her toilet paper.
