Hello to all! October is almost here! I'm so ready to be done being pregnant. Granted, I still have 9 weeks until I'm 40 weeks a long, but still. I was thinking the other day about my pregnancy with Mckenzie and realized that by this time with her, I only had 5 weeks until she was born. That made me a bit nervous. We just hope and pray that everything will go more smoothly with this little one and she won't have to stay in the hospital for too long. Even though I have great insurance, we're STILL paying for Mckenzie's hospital stay. Babybaby is doing well. Last time I went to the doctor, he said the ultrasound measured her at the 82% and I'm measuring bigger than how far along I am. This makes total sense to me 'cause I feel bigger than how I did with Mckenzie (minus the swelling). Dan took some pictures of Mckenzie and I a week ago and I couldn't believe how different my face looks!
Dan is doing well with his internship. He's learning a lot and enjoys his co-workers. He's in the process of looking for jobs and there's possibilities in Oregon, Washington and California mostly. There's also one he's found in Maryland and refuses to look into those in Texas (sorry Janae and Rhien Family). There's always the possibility of moving back to Idaho where Dan can work for the structural engineering company that he has done the past couple of years and really enjoyed. Only time will tell. So, if you have any desire for us to live near you, find a job for Dan...and of course say your prayers!
Mckenzie is growing what more can I say. She does so many silly things and keeps us on our toes. This past weekend we were rather lazy and she terrorized the apartment. Fortunately, I have a wonderful husband who helped straighten things up last night. She LOVES books and if I would, she'd have me read them to her all day long. I've even found her grabbing a book, climbing onto the rocker and looking through it (it's a very precious look). She continues to have a love for swimming and is getting braver and braver. There's a playground right outside our apartment that she escapes to each time we walk out the door. Her favorite parts of the playground are the slides and the sand! She enjoys going to primary with us and she looks so grown-up when she sits in the little chairs they have at church. Mckenzie has always loved music and her love for it continues to grow. She'll listen and dance to anything and has started implementing hand motions into her dances. She also has learned how cool it is to play dress up. From belts, to hats, to whatever. If she can put it on, she loves it. After getting dressed, she will quickly check herself out in the mirror. What have we created!?!
We're doing well and getting happier and happier as the heat dies down some. We're anxiously awaiting babybaby to come and look forward to finishing the internship in December and staying in one place for a couple of years. We love and miss you all!

Sure is too bad about the whole "not ever moving to Texas" thing you guys have...
Oh well. I understand completely how people like the Woods would not fit in in Dallas real well. I sure as heck don't fit in here all that well.
Wish you luck Dan on finding good employement.
Jessica- Hang in there, I'm so happy for you guys and your soon to be two little kids. Congrats!

by the way, I hate how Blogger has no spell check, and it won't let you go back and edit your comments very easily.
McKenzie is such a babe! Jess, you are such a trooper being prego in Phoenix through the summer! I know you didn't have a choice, but I would have complained a lot more on my blog about it than you have. I'm not actually surprised about that. You are a much better person than me. Anyway, good luck with the last bit of the pregnancy. Hope it all goes smoothly!
Jessica, I am so glad I found you. How are you doing?? Your little girl is so precious. Where are you guys living now? Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. . . the end seems to go by the slowest!
