Bedtime already???

This has happened twice now. The first time I thought it was a total fluke, but tonight I realized we are very lucky parents! Mckenzie has lot's of nicknames, but one inparticular is "switch". She's either on or off. That's it. She's always been an amazing sleeper. Up until she was 18 months she was still taking 2 naps during the day for about 2 hours at a time. Plus, rarely does she fuss when we put her down for naps or bedtime and if she does it's for less than a couple of minutes. Anyway, we have our bedtime routine of bath, pj's, prayer, scriptures and daddy hugs and kisses. She insists on having me put her down (it makes me feel special). Well, tonight she has been a bit fussy so we planned to put her down early thinking she was tired. After prayer and scriptures, she gave Dan a hug and kiss then guided me to her room at which point she ready for me to pick her up and put her in bed. Nice, huh? This has happened twice now in the last 2 weeks or so and I'm hoping it continues because it's so cute to watch her. Maybe this story is lame to you all, but as the mommy of Mckenzie, I just think it's cute. Now, if Mckenzie could only teach Abby the joys of sleep.
