Life sure gets busy. We always think, "ok, after this month things will start to settle down", and they don't. From work, to family, to moving, to being toursits, to callings, we sure are on the go. It's awesome... sometimes. Anyway, I should sum up what we've done in this last month a) for family who are dying to see pictures of our beautiful girls and b) for our blurb. So, if you're bored, sorry.
In late Janaury, we moved...AGAIN. This is our 8th move in 5 1/2 years! We really like our new place. It has a lot of storage areas, great kitchen, we get to stay in the same incredible ward, less expensive (in MA that's hard to find), walking distance to the mall (not the greatest for the pocketbook), and it's only 3 miles from Dan's work! The move was crazy, but our ward is absolutely AWESOME and they were a HUGE help. My visiting teacher is incredible. She took care of the girls for 24 hours straight and they loved every minute of it!
Two weeks after moving, my brother Spencer and 3 of my cousins came to visit from Colorado for President's Day Weekend. We took them to Plymouth Rock (forgot my camera that day) and we did the Freedom Trail in Boston. Plymouth Rock is a bit of a let-down, but the more I go and the more I learn about Dan's family, the more it interests me. Dan actually had a couple of family members who traveled on the MAYFLOWER. Pretty cool, huh? We're trying to find their grave sites now. This last time we went, we found a cemetary that had a couple people buried from the 1620's. It was really cold when we went into Boston! You can't come visit us without walking the Freedom Trail (although my mom has been out twice and we haven't taken her), so we froze. .
Anyway, here's some pictures of their visit. We had lot's of fun and Mckenzie and Abby LOVED all the attention.
On board the USS Constitution My cousins are really TALL so they had to hunch over to walk the different levels of the ship. Dan looks tall in this picture because he was on his toes to look good.

This is at the Old North Church (I think that's what it's called). There's a lot of US history that has happened here. They are actually sitting in the same pew that Theodore Roosevelt sat in on December 29, 1912.
We can't go into Boston without stopping at Mike's Pastery to get cannolli's! They aren't just my favorite desert, they are my favorite food! I think they're becoming a favorite for Mckenzie and Abby too!
One of my favorite things about cities is the entertainment! It's amazing how creative people can get when they want to earn a buck! These guys were fun to watch dance. Mckenzie got up and danced a bit to the music and really enjoyed herself until the wind picked up.
This guy was really cool. He did an awesome job making music from random things you'd find in your house.
We celebrated my brother Spencer's 18th birthday!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Pepe!
