Hello to all! Things have been crazy, but we hope in the next little while they'll calm down. Probably not, but we can hope! Dan finished school in early April. BYU-I changed some things and now finals are the first week of April. Crazy huh? It makes for a big push throughout the whole semester (it's only about 12 weeks), but it's worth it. Dan decided to walk with the off chance that President Hinckley would be speaking. They split the different departments up for their own commencement and guess who happened to be there and speak at the department of science and engineering (that's Dan's department)??? Elder Erying. It was pretty amazing. Since there weren't very many graduates in this particular department, it made for a more comfortable and relaxed commencement. Dale (Dan's father), Mckenzie and I sat really close to him and it was amazing the presence about him. I've always thought of him as a very powerful and touching speaker and this time we saw a much more laid back and happy-go-lucky person. Anyway, I wish we'd brought the camera. Very long story. I have a picture on my phone though. So, a little picture of him and Mckenzie will have to do.
