We moved apartments (LONG STORY) and that was a hassel, but a lady is letting us rent out one of her apartments for a really good price and a month to month contract which is unheard of! We didn't want to rent an apartment longer than that because we were still looking for an internship. We are grateful to all those that helped us in the move. We moved most of our stuff into a storage unit and have just a few things with us. Dan is working at Design Intelligence full-time and plans to stop in a couple of weeks since we're moving to Arizona. Yup, you read correctly. We're moving to Arizona. Some people have different words for that state because it's so hot, but this is a family site, so let's keep it clean. Besides, I (Jessica) am trying to have a positive outlook on Arizona. It may be difficult, but it needs to be that way. I really am very excited for the move and for the internship, it's just the heat gets to me. Once it gets to about 80 degrees I think it way too hot! But, I've been plenty reassured that everywhere has A/C and there are pools everywhere. So, all in all, we all are really excited! So, the internship. Dan's internship is with Intel. i'm sure everyone that reads this has heard of Intel considering the fact that you are reading this via the computer. He's really excited because the internship involves the exact things he enjoys doing. I think it's called firmware. What I know about it is that they work to get the software and hardware to work together. Something like that. Anyway, this internship is a huge blessing and we are very grateful for it (that's one of the reasons why I'm trying hard to be positive about Arizona). It's planned to be around an 8 month internship!
As for me, I'm loving being at home with Mckenzie. We've been able to go down to Colorado a couple of times even! My knee is continuing to heal and I anticipate snowboarding in 9-10 months! I only went once last year because of my knee surgery and the year before that I was pregnant.

Arizona is a great place! I have lived here most of my life and my wife, daughter, and I currently live in Mesa. Some of my CSE buddies from school work at the Intel plant in Chandler and enjoy their jobs, even with the dose of typical corporate politics they experience there. Congrats on the internship and the move. I saw your update on the yekatmission site as I periodically check for updates of mission acquaintances.
