Do you ever wonder what your life would be like if it were to slow down!?! We've had a crazy last couple of months and I haven't the slightest idea where to begin...First off, I don't know if everyone knows, but we're expecting another little one around Thanksgiving time. I was really sad about leaving the amazing OB that I had, but what do you do? We're about 15 weeks along and looking forward to decrease in headaches nausea etc. As you know, we moved to Arizona. The drive was LONG, but lucky for me, my mom flew over to Salt Lake and she drove to Phoenix while I took naps, played with Mckenzie and dealt with being sick. THANK YOU, MOM! Dan drove the rental truck that had our other car hauling behind it the whole way. So, with the two of them doing the driving, I really couldn't complain much. Our biggest adventure on the way down was having to go a different route than planned and instead of going over the Hoover Dam, we had to go through the Mauvi Desert (if you know what was good for you, then you won't ask Dan about this adventure). My aunt and cousin and his wife helped us unload the truck which was a huge help considering the fact that our bodies and minds had no idea what to think about the heat. My mom stayed for a few days and unpacked TONS of stuff. She's simply wonderful and amazing.
Our apartment is great! It has a lot of space, the playground is right outside our door, there's two pools at the complex and pest control comes and sprays the grounds once a week. I've had them spray our home one and a half times already. There's lot's to do down here. The shopping is fun, the food is great (especially if you like mexican food),lot's of museums, and there's air conditioning everywhere you go. Our ward seems to be really friendly. It's quite small so they are eager to get new people. We are the sunbeam teachers and if any of you know our sweet angel Mckenzie, then you'll be wondering how in the world we're going to do this. I don't think it'll be to bad considering there's only one sunbeam that comes to church. Though, I've decided that's going to change! There's more sunbeam age kids out there, it's just their parents don't come to church. I believe that kids can have a huge impact on their parents! So, I think we'll be doing some missionary work. HORRAY! (I loved this picture of Mckenzie. We stopped in Las Vegas and my mom was holding her while feeding her those nasty candy circus peanuts. They were a big hit!)
