Welcome to New England

We are so impressed with how well they take care of their roads! There was a "big" storm one night and guess what we saw out our window!?! They were PLOWING at midnight!! It's amazing. Up until now, we hadn't figured out how they keep their roads so nice and although wet, not icy. Recently we got a gimps of what an ice storm is like, though it wasn't a big one like you always hear about on the news. We had so much fun. I'm sure our neighbors were looking out their windows wondering why in the world we were taking pictures and playing in the cold after an ice storm. We couldn't help but be in awe of what our car was like. It was completely iced over. You might have to click on the pictures to see them in more detail.

Aren't ice storms awesome! There are the downsides though...our neighbors tree snapped in half when the ice was too heavy. Love the pictures!

I remember when our car had a quarter inch of ice all over it. It was so different than anything I'd ever seen before. Scary to have to scrape off and drive on, but kind of cool and amazing, too.
