We recently went to Colorado and Bear Lake (Idaho/Utah) for 16 days! It was GREAT! Here's a look at the 1st half of our summer vacation:
Mckenzie and Abby LOVE animals and lucky for them "Baba" and "DyeDye" Bastian have 2 horses and a dog.
Mckenzie loved everything about the horses from feeding them, to riding them, to talking to them.
I can't remember what she was saying, but she was trying to have a conversation with the horse.
Abby on the other hand liked everything about the horses EXCEPT for the riding part.

Uncle Lane took Mckenzie for a ride on the little dirt bike and boy did she think that was cool!
Uncle Spencer took Mckenzie for a ride on the 4-wheelers. Mckenzie doesn't look very excited in this picture, but trust me she was thrilled!
Next up, we have our trip to Bear Lake, Idaho! It's one of my favorite places to be! Every 4 years my mom's side of the family has a big family reunion which includes everyone from my great-great-grandparents down. My great-great-grandparents settled down in Dingle, Idaho which is just a few miles north of Bear Lake. I have discovered that jet skiing is addicting!!!

Mckenzie loved riding in the boat and rarely would sit down in it. She wanted to look over the side into the water. I'm amazed that she didn't fall in and that I didn't loose my mind with how many times I told her to sit down! She also was brave enough to ride in the tube and had lot's of fun!

I love this one of Abby covered in sand at the end of the day.
This is a picture of the Ream Vault where a lot of my family is burried including my
Grandpa Shelby and Great-Great-Grandma Nora whom Abby is named after. The tree in the picture below is a tree that my Great-Great-Grandpa W.D. planted at the cemetary.
Mckenzie is standing by the vault of my Grandpa Shelby who died when
I was about 1 1/2 years old.

GAAAA! I can't believe you were only like 1 1/2 hours away and we didn't see you guys! :( Not that it would've mattered, we were gone on vacation too! But, still, so close! I'm glad that you guys had a fun time...your little girls are sooo cute and getting so big! AND, oh my gosh, your little sister is GORGEOUS! Love you guys!
McKenzie is looking soooo grown-up!!! I love your girls swimming suits. They are adorable. Looks like such a fun vacation! I bet you guys loved getting away and bein' with family! And I don't think your nostrils look big!
