Second Half Of Our Summer Vacation

(*Disclaimer: I know my blog is boring. As soon as I get caught up, I'll try and find ways to make it exciting to visit my blog)
After our family reunion in Bear Lake, we came back to Colorado and had a lot of fun spending time with family and relaxing!

My parents have a pond on their property and my brothers like to build jumps to ride their bike off into the water. Of course Dan was willing to help build an 8 foot high jump while we were visiting. Fortunantly, they didn't get it finished. I really didn't want to take anyone to the emergency room...

These pictures are of Dan, Spencer and Lane. My brothers are working on a dirt bike course on my parents open field.

This is what happens when you push yourself to hard:

What did we do that night? Took a trip to the ER. It ended up not broken, but VERY sprained.

Dan had to work for 3 days in Ft. Collins, so the girls stayed with my parents and I went with him. It was great! I relaxed in the hotel, went shopping, went swimming, took naps etc. By the end, I really missed my little munchkins, but it was GREAT having a few days to relax.
One evening we drove up through Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. It was BEAUTIFUL!

My parents neighbors have some chickens and goats that Mckenzie and Abby loved playing with.

The flight home was LONG and Abby decided that she's wasn't going to be her sweet mild-tempered, cuddly toddler and it made for a not so pleasant red-eye flight and another early morning flight. Oh well, we're home safe and sound. We had a great time and it was wonderful to see so many family and friends!
