We can't get enough of Boston. There's so many things to do, see and tons of yummy food to eat in Boston. Fortunantely, people want to and do come visit us so we have an excuse to go into the beautiful city. This time, our friends Jed and Laura and their two beautiful daughters came from Dallas (we're trying to look for a job for them here). Jed served in the same mission as us and when we were all going to school, they were in the same ward and then we became next door neighbors. We hadn't seen them in over 2 years, so we were thrilled to have them. Mckenzie and Ally had a great time together and now Mckenzie gets so excited everytime I show her pictures of her new friend. I'd have to say that besides just hanging out with them, my favorite part of the trip into Boston was Mike's pasteries and introducing the Rhien's to cannoli's. Sure you can find cannoli's throughout the states, but it's not the same as getting them from inside little Italy of Boston. Trust me, cannoli's are my favorite food, not dessert food, so I know a thing or two about them. Everyone loved them and I'm sure no one would have objected to going back to the pastery shop before we left Boston. Besides eating, we went on the Freedom trail and saw tons of US historical places. I love visiting the sites of US history. It helps me remember the freedoms I have and what the founding fathers of our country were actually doing when they created our country. It gives me a greater sense of pride in my country as well as gratitude for those who have served it in so many ways! We didn't get that many good pictures. We pretty much had Jed and Laura take the pictures since they have a better camera than us and they take great pictures. So, when they send the cd, maybe I'll put more up. For now, this will have to do. THANK YOU so much for coming and spending time with us, Rhien Family. It was great and we miss you guys already!

Laura and Lucy going down the stairs on the USS Constitution. The picture doesn't do the stairs justice. They were STEEP!!!

ah, I miss you guys. I wish we could live next door to each other again. That was nice.
We really loved our time with you guys. Boston was fun, playing games late each night was fun. We haven't sent out your cd yet of photos.. I need to get to the store to get some more cd's. We just ran out before our vacation. We only took about 800 photos of the trip. I'm not sure if that's enough or not :)
Anyway- We miss you- and THANKS for your hospitality and friendship!
