Mckenzie and Jessica spent last week in Colorado. Dan flew up on Thursday night. Long story about his trip up, but he was supposed to fly in at 11:45 pm, but didn't get in until 2:45 am! Jessica had the "opprotunity" to pick him up at the airport. Friday we went to my brother Shelby's football game. He did a great job. Mckenzie of course had a blast because there were a couple of dogs to play with and people on the sidelines to get attention from. That night, Dan took my brother Spencer to a Love 45 concert, but found out it was 21 +, so they had fun eating icecream, having a motorcyclist come so close to their bumper at a stoplight that he fell off his bike and went bowling. Jessica? She was able to sleep! She gets tired easily.
Saturday we went to another game of Shelby's. He again did great and it was nice to be outside and not sweating! Oh how wonderful Colorado weather is. While at the game, Mckenzie decided she wanted to be a little football player. Just think, Mckenzie may become the first female kicker for the Denver Broncos! Oh how proud my family would be!
(Mckenzie loves her Uncle Spencer's sunglasses)
Mckenzie runs down the 50 yard line, the 40, now the 30

Now the 20, she-could-go -all-the-way!!!!
TOUCHDOWN, MCKENZIE!!!! That night we went to a Rockies game with my dad, Spencer, Shelby, Bree, my uncles Kevin and Glen and cousins Mitchell, Dalton, Spencer and Jared. We enjoyed it a lot even though the sun was hitting us directly for the first hour and amazingly, the Rockies won! Sunday, we relaxed and played games with my siblings.

It was a great trip. Jessica was able to get a lot of work stuff done and help out with running the kids around town. Mckenzie loved being with her aunt and uncles and actually gave her Grandma Bastian kisses (this is pretty amazing for MCkenzie. She pretty much ignores anyone over the age of 17). Dan loved getting away and relaxing. He even was able to take some naps!
Mckenzie had a fun and exciting trip.
