Abby is 16 months!

(She doesn't use a pacifier, but thinks it's funny to tease Mckenzie with one. Mckenzie just threw all of hers away.)

I just realized that my baby is 16 months old today! Ok, I know a lot of you out there have your own "babies" that are much older than 16 months, but I was in a bit of a shock just now. I like looking at the differences between where Mckenzie was at Abby's age and thinking about their likes, dislikes, personality, experiences etc. I can't believe that by the time Mckenzie was 16 months old, I was 7-8 months pregnant with Abby! Isn't it amazing to look back and see how quickly a baby grows and develops? It is all just so miraculous. I am so grateful that I am able to stay at home with my little girls and watch and participate in their development. I am always the first to see the smiles, the giggles, the rolling over, the scoots and crawls, the cruising, the standing, the walking, the first words. As a mother, I am their closest and dearest friend and support. They trust me completely!
